Join our Meet & Make sessions, mixing some creative fun with meeting women in the local area. Check out all sessions, we're printing greetings cards, drawing & painting, marbling baubles and then in December we'll be hosting a Christmas Party!!!

Make Something Useful... A Festive Series

Make Something Useful is a passion project series - having made so many things in classes that are now dust catchers, in these classes you will make something you will actually use. We have a festive series with plenty of options to choose from, join us.

Hi, I'm Lucy, the founder of The Makery Nook.

I've always loved arts and crafts. I completed an art degree and over the years, have became a serial art/craft course-taker. My cupboards are crammed with paints, craft kits, swathes of fabric, and countless bits and pieces that might just come in handy one day.

Based on all my experience, my aim isn't to teach traditional art classes or tell children or adults what to make. Instead I want to give people young and old a relaxed, inspiring space to explore their creativity. There's no pressure to produce a perfect masterpiece, just the freedom to make, create and have fun.
